Jim Dowgialo

James, or Jim as he prefers, has been a licensed General Contractor since 1977 in the state of California. During the past 12 years he began a career in building inspection beginning with the City of Milpitas, then Danville and later, Pleasanton.  For the past 10 years he has served the community of San Jose as a building inspector for the Department of Public Works.  This has given him considerable insight as to the requirements of the California Accessibility Code. The types of projects were all public buildings, such as, libraries, community centers, fire stations and the new Terminal B of the Mineta/ San Jose International Airport, all of which had to meet the stringent requirements for the physically challenged. Now as a Certified Accessibility Specialist, he looks forward to helping clients resolve readily, as well as  economically,  any accessibility issues that one may face.
